29/04/2010 - The second week game has left a real bad taste in the mouth within the oranisation of the Wildcats. How we let the game slip through our paws, god only knows. Still we can take great positives out of the game - mainly the fact that we were, for the first time, able to boss our way round the pitch against them dirty, cheating Bullsitters from Calgary. I can just imagine what those Canucks were saying when they came to do their game plan..... "We gonna give the ball to Bonney so he can kick it - ey"...."Forget about playing football, cause we can kick there special teams out of the game - ey"Bloody bunch of ignorant moose humpers if you ask me! God I really do hate Bonney! [10/3]
13/04/2010 - The first week has come and gone, and with it the customary first loss of the season. After what was a promising pre-season, reality bit hard with what can only be described as a real pisser. The special teams simply did not turn up, and the defence was simply over reliant on the Offence digging them out of a whole - for which they nearly did. For this franchise to move forward, the whole team will have to pull together, and work as one. So with this in mind - The Wildcats are inviting everyone down to a BBQ in Calgary - were Steak is on the menu! [10/2]
09/11/2009 - Well, its half way through the season, and normaly at this time of year, the Cats have had 5 maulings. This year however, there has been a different tale. The team should be on at least a 2-2-1 record if not on a 3-2, but sometimes you just dont get what you deserve. The offence has seen a new leader step and take over as QB, and Jack has done a fine job leading his team. If only he can get a bit more composure to his game n the red zone, he could really grow into something special.Reznik has been missed, but now that he is approaching full fitness again, maybe he can start showing some of that potential we all know he has.The defence has stepped up its game this year - which to be honest is not hard given what has happened in recent seasons - but that D-line is getting plenty of pressure on opposition QBs and for the first time in a long time, the Linebackers are earning their keep.Special teams...... well the less said about them the better - but maybe they can stop making the stupid mistakes and will step up a gear. Who knows, maybe they can suprise a few of the fans that are starting to get on their back. [9/6]
20/04/2008 - its gonna be a long hard season! [6/2]
